Value Based Management: the problem of application in the nonpublic companies

The article reviews value based management approach in terms of its applicability in nonpublic companies - companies which are not listed on the stock exchange, and defines the key problems of applying the given concept in such companies. The article also reviews in details difficulties caused by using the finance indicator «business value» as the effectiveness measure of the business.
