This article is devoted to the analysis of investment climate in the Arkhangelsk region in period to 90th years of the twentieth century to present.
     Investments are a major source of resources for the development of the region's economy and the country as a whole. Their size and structure largely determine the level of development of infrastructure, social infrastructure, quality of life. In relation with this, the topic of this article is relevant.
     The article analyzes the investment, their structure, sources. To examine the relationship with the volume of investment in industrial production and income generation.
