In the article different causes of the world economic crisis are analyzed, and its connection with cyclicality of the world economic development, the peculiarities of globalization, and imperfection of the modern economic system’s institutional environment is substantiated. General and specific technologies of struggle against the crises in different countries, as well as over national measures of crisis regulation are examined. The article is completed by analysis of the lessons of the world economic crisis and outlook for institutional changes in global economic area.
