Profitability and efficiency in banking

In article are brought results of the comparison to relative efficiency, calculated by means of using the stochastic frontier methods, and profitability for banks of the Russian Federation. It is shown that for correct payment of profitability is required to calculate optimum total costs and profit within the framework of one common model and is brought possible variant to realization of these model.
