Consolidation of Russian banking capital: possible or not

The article is devoted to consolidation as a basic tendency of development of commercial banks in Russia. The substantiation of necessity of integration Russian banks is represented. Special features of the Russian consolidation is described. The problems accompaning expansion of banking by consolidation are allocated. Typical ways of consolidation are determined to concretize the stages of development this process in Russia. This article corresponds to current market situation and reflects the occurred changes in transactions of consolidation of the Russian banks.
