This article substantiates the relevance of investigation of this topic, discovers key notions of investment market’s operation, such as investment demand and investment supply, and also presents author’s definition of these components of investment process.
     Author considers investment market’s operation based on two components, namely, market of investment capital (investment resources) and market of investment goods and services.
     Basing on conducted investigation the author concludes, that a coincidence of the resources’ flow formulas, describing processes on markets of investment capital (investment resources) and markets of investment goods and services, is not accidental. In fact, the matter concerns the same investment market, but considering in two aspects, firstly, in the matter of the investment flow (investment capital), shared by the investors, and secondly, in position of the flow of investment goods, which are the objects of injections of investors. In conclusion the author asserts that it is appropriate to lead the whole multiplicity of connections between real sector and investment market to three basic interaction mechanisms:
     the demand of the economy’s real sector for the investment resources;
     the supply of the investment market to the economy’s real sector;
     the potential supply of cumulative investment resources by the economy’s real sector to the investment market.
