The article assesses the laws being passed in the American banking system from the Great Depression period up to present times. It makes conclusions that they increase the information asymmetry appearance at the banking services market. As a result of appearance of new banking products in the form of derivative securities, the banks have been performing re-distribution of risks among all buyers of these securities.
