The article assesses the consequences of the financial and economic crisis for leasing companies. Particular attention is being paid to the market trends brought about by the acute shortage of financial resources: merger and acquisition, search for patronage of a large financial structure, active work within the limits of state programs for leasing development, bankruptcy of small independent leasing providers, universal modernization of the risk management system.
