This article covers approaches to forming the optimum budget of an enterprise selling or purchasing goods at the market, with regard to the risk of mistakes in evaluating its market value and demand, and the costs resulting from them. Variants of the budget optimality criteria are given for cases of the goods sale and purchase. Methods of evaluating the risks of mistakes in the price and volume factors of the budget and costs related to them have been developed.
