Tasks of forming a mega-corporate innovative cluster in the Russian gas industry

The article substantiates the importance of innovative management for formation of competitive positions of the gas sector enterprises in the market economy, and demonstrates the necessary conditions for optimization of the gas sector enterprises’ operations. In order to solve the said tasks, it is offered to create a mega-corporate innovative cluster within the system of OAO Gazprom, the characteristic features of which are the creation of conditions for forming innovations in the gas sector, integration of innovation in the science and production at the corporate level of the transnational corporation.
