Specific risks of merger and acquisition processes

The article presents the results of studies devoted to highlighting the basic problems hampering the development of merger and acquisition processes. The analysis of classifications of problematic aspects of merger/acquisition processes being researched allows making the conclusion that they do not contradict, but only supplement and sometimes replace each other. The conclusions made it possible to define that each of the problematic aspects leads to appearance of some type of loss of the merging company, which is equal to the idea of risk.
