The article provides the critical analysis of the level of social and economic development of the country in contemporary conditions based on the key macroeconomic indicators. It discloses new qualitative features, acquired in the conditions of the formed environment at the world natural resources market, and hampering effects as a result of significant draining of economic growth factors present in the last years.
