Matters of improving the effectiveness of the state financial control (SFC) are currently relevant, because the efficiency of the SFC system directly influences the efficiency of the social and economic development of the country, its regions, municipal formations and economic subjects. In order to define the directions of improving the SFC effectiveness, it is necessary to develop a clear methodological approach to assessment of effectiveness of the SFC system and control organs activities. In the article the author considers the essence, problems of evaluation, factors and conditions of improving the SFC efficiency.
