The article considers the problems of evaluating the effectiveness of the budget policy of municipal entities. It analyses the already published results of the studies of this issue. It shows that the difference of the approach being offered from those already existing is that the authors are offering a method, allowing to take into account the municipalities’ activities not only in their dynamics but also assess the influence of various factors on the efficiency level of the budget policy realization.
