Regional experience of small business development

The article presents complex analysis of dynamics of small business development in Kaluga region. According to the author, the role of small business in the regions of Russia, particularly with a glance to the current crisis, is difficult to overestimate. In fact, during this period it is especially necessary to modernize and develop production sector, support domestic goods producers through the system of government orders. A large number of small and medium-scale businesses experience most painful difficulties.
