Region’s tax potential: its place and functional frames within region economy

The article defines the place and functional frames of tax potential within region economy, and consequently within the system of potentials determining the socio-economic position of a region. For this purpose the following tasks are solved in the article: different approaches to identification of socio-economic potential of a region are studied, and the composition of potentials forming it is defined; points of contact of region’s tax potential with each of the studied region’s potentials are defined and established.
