Fuzzy theoretic approach to persons’ credit scoring

Studying issues related to decision making concerning applications for credit that will enable to select would-be borrowers is the basic requirement of loan agencies performance at retail lending market. The article deals with the issue of developing a model of persons’ credit scoring.
     The analysis of scholarly works singled out the main approaches thereto. The authors substantiate their choosing fuzzy theoretic approach thereto.
     The suggested model creates two credit rating values of a borrower – qualitative and quantitative. Qualitative value is used to make a decision whether to allot a credit or not. Quantitative value helps to determine lending terms.
