The article studies the experience of advanced economies in public and private partnership when financing research projects and innovative infrastructure. The authors focus on efficient mechanisms of financial policy that promote integration of government resources with business financial ability and scientific potential of higher schools, when stimulating rational economic performance of the top countries with innovative development. Such tools can be useful to Russia in promoting knowledge-driven economy.
