The article points out that the exclusive closeness of processes of merger and acquisition of companies has still been the distinctive feature of the Russian market, which does not bring to the expected results. The loss of the so called hidden opportunities should be considered the main problem on the Russian market of merger and acquisition, which predetermines the topicality of this issue.
