Placement of the federal budget funds in bank deposits in 2008 as reflected in numbers

In 2008 credit institutions concluded more than 600 bank deposit agreements with the Federal Treasury, attracted about 1,785.367 billion rubles for deposits, and paid more than 16 billion rubles as a profit for the federal budget charged on the deposited amounts. In this article the author generalizes the results of placement of the federal budget funds in bank deposits in 2008.
