Anti-crisis model of mortgage lending in Russia

The article emphasizes that one of the major problems of the residential mortgage lending system in the current crisis conditions in Russia is the complexity of attracting long-term resources for mortgage lending. The extremely short-term and expensive attracted resources greatly limit the possibilities of the Russian banks in case of mortgage lending. No bank is able to form their credit long-term loans portfolio, while relying on short-term sources.
