The present article is devoted to the subject of development of electronic commerce and its influence on the increase of the range of remote banking services. The author undertakes an in-depth study of structure change due to electronic commerce development, steady penetration of on-line way of liaison between organizations and their clients on the banking services market, new forms of competition among banks and non-bank organizations on the market of credit and settlement services. The classification of mode-dependent (off-line, on-line) remote client servicing as well as systematization of the main prerequisites of the preferential use of the Internet as an instrument of remote banking servicing are of special interest.
