Assessment of sociocultural capacity of Makhachkala

In the article the assessment of sociocultural capacity of the capital of the Republic of Dagestan - Makhachkala is carried out. The assessment was under construction on identification of degree of satisfaction of inhabitants by a level of development of institutes of the sociocultural sphere of the city and the analysis of statistics of functioning of cultural institutions, educations, mass media and religions. Interviews of a number of experts and data of questionnaire of 500 respondents in 2008 and 2010 were subject to processing. The conclusion is drawn that use of establishments of the cultural sphere insufficiently effectively and demands adjustment taking into account requirements of development of modern city communities.
