Importance The research devises the methodological framework of tools for analyzing and strategic management of Russia's parity participation in global mega-projects, with evidence from the space sector.
Objectives The research examines and describes basic and sustainable relationships in terms of analysis and strategic management of Russia's involvement in global mega-projects on the parity basis with partners and competitors.
Methods The research is based on a system analysis, methods of strategic management, research into operations.
Results We propose a methodological underpinning to make a toolkit for analyzing the parity and articulating long-term and mid-term programs, projects, strategies. We point out nine segments for ensuring parity. We invented a formalized model based on expert assessment to evaluate the mid run parity in the material and technical sector.
Conclusions and Relevance The salience of the proposed methodological approach is its comprehensiveness, dialectical combination of strategic focus and external economic aspects and exactness of economic and technological development criteria for mid-term projects. Its use will create a methodological and IT tool to consolidate various professionals and elaborate key aspects of space activities.
