Sustainability of the socio-economic development, political integrity of a country and adaptivity of the market to a large extent depend on the state of transport and logistics sector and its servicing transport and logistics infrastructure. In this regard, the role of investment in infrastructure projects in the country significantly increases, including the creation of a new territorial entity in the Russian Federation - the Republic of Crimea. The authors consider that taking into account the specific features and modern trends of development, the Russian economy requires the new approaches to the development and implementation of investment projects in the field of transport and logistics infrastructure. Taking into account the global trends of deepening of inter-regional cooperation, as well as common climatic conditions, areas of specialization and territorial proximity, it is expedient to create a single interregional economic space of the Crimea and the Krasnodar Territory, which objective will be to ensure the coordination of the strategy and policy of socio-economic development of regions, synchronization of transformation programs and development of horizontal communication links as a basis for cooperation in the field of transport, energy, trade, industrial and agro-industrial complexes. The paper points out that it is feasible to create an interregional Commission for regulation of coordination and development of economic cooperation between the two considered regions. The authors highlight the possible functions - development and implementation of joint development programs and, above all, in the area of the main sectors of specialization: agribusiness, tourism and recreation spheres and specific projects; monitoring and coordination of the situation, ensuring of the direct communication and information exchanges; provision of information, advice and assistance in the search for partners; other forms of assistance in economic activities; organization of conferences, seminars, exhibitions; involvement of the community of entrepreneurial circles inside and outside of the region. Obviously, it is necessary to form an integrated transport and logistics infrastructure of the Crimea and other regions of Russia, i.e. construction of infrastructure objects through joint efforts on transport, the creation of new transport networks, the transition to the modern freight and loading terminal and storage technologies and the creation of new transport corridors.
