The article considers the problems of formation and development of high-tech sectors of the national economy. The author claim that need of accelerated development by the need of achievement of steady parameters of economic growth, ensuring competitiveness of economy of Russia in the world market, support of innovative types of economic activity. The paper points out that it is too early to talk even about catching the development of the domestic industry in the level of technological development.
