In the article the features of reproduction of the population of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) are considered. The role of demographic potential is shown, family and marriage problems are considered. The assessment of prospects of demographic development of the republic by results of expert poll on the Demography block within implementation of the Forsythe of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) - 2050 project is given.
