Problems of reducing the cost of road construction

The sharp rise in the cost of construction of road in Russia is caused by a significant increase in the vehicle fleet and flows on the main roads, non-systematic funding, low connectivity of local roads that promotes appreciation in cost of the construction of highways, lack of the multivariate designing. In the article the necessity of transition from the priority development of highways to a balanced network development and strengthening the requirements analysis to choosing optimal terms of putting into operation the objects are revealed.
