Features of emergence and development of the new enterprises of the space-rocket industry of Russia at the growing role of the private sector of economy are considered. Distinctive features of "old" and "new" scientific-industrial complex at the solution of the problems of national space activity are defined. The review of prospects of development of the industry at the growing commercialization of space activity and an entry into the international market of space products and services is provided.
