In the article the investment actions of regional authorities in subjects of Russian Federation are considered: creation (choice) of investment idea, creation of investment group and formation of financial resources. By the authors a justification of essence of these actions and their role in investment process of regions is offered. The features of investment actions are described taking into account specifics of current stage of development of economy of the Russian Federation.
