The internal and international reasons and conditions of manifestation of religious extremism and nationalism are considered. Concrete examples of activity in the territory of Russia of separate fundamentalist groups and the organizations are analyzed. Theoretical and practical aspects on improvement of undertaken measures from bodies of the state on prevention and counteraction to crimes because of extremism and nationalism are revealed.
