China, as well as some other not Arctic states, raises a claim to exploitation of natural resources of the Arctic. In the future it can lead to a rivalry aggravation with Russia possessing rich resources in the polar region. China Strategy and possible ways of cooperation of China with Russia in the Arctic is analyzed. It is noted that the People's Republic of China possesses considerable financial and economic and scientific and technological potential which can appear the extremely useful to Russia in development of the Arctic.
