In connection with active development of the banking system in the Russian Federation the subject of formation of retail business gets every year the increasing urgency. The main aspects of activity of retail bank on example of JSC "AIKB "Tatfondbank" are analyzed. The course taken by bank in connection with accepted strategy of development is considered, the main mechanisms of realization of the declared priorities are presented. The assessment is given to tendencies of formation of retail business of bank and the directions of its further growth are made.
