In the article the main concepts of development of social and economic responsibility of business are considered. The increasing role of social duties of business at the present stage of development of society is proved. The main reasons for an institutionalization of the concept of social and economic responsibility of business are established. The features of formation of social and economically responsible business in modern Russia are defined.
