In the article the problems of development of world and Russian power in the conditions of refusal of some countries of the world from nuclear power plants after the accident on the Japanese nuclear power plant "Fukushima" are considered. The conclusion is drawn that new strategic possibilities create conditions for the transition to a new stage of consolidation of the nuclear power industry of Russia in the structure of the global energy business
