In the article approaches to an assessment of influence of scale of sales markets on competitiveness of difficult knowledge-intensive products of long using (on a civil aircraft example) are offered. The analysis of influence of scales of the Russian economic space on possibilities and risks of development of the Russian economy is carried out; measures for compensation of its small scales and for their natural increase are offered.
