Competitive basic researches in interests of Federal space agency

In the article it is shown the experience of Russian Fund of Basic Researches in maintenance of goal-oriented basic research projects in the fields determined by the Federal Space Agency (FSA). The task of these competitions is to shape a continuous innovative path leading from a basic scientific finding to its implementation in the agency’s programs. It is examined the choice of research topics and statistics and qualitative assessment of the competition. It is considered scientific characteristics of the received results and their practical relevance for FSA’s programs.
