External challenges of development of forest potential of Russia and its regions: actual aspects of strategy of economic safety

Two groups of external calls of development of national forest potential are analyzed: natural and world economic. Natural calls are connected with the climatic anomalies provoking scale forest fires (2010), which pose threat to economic and ecological safety of the country. The scale and damage are analyzed, the reasons of occurrence of this national threat are allocated. World economic calls are new external conditions of participation of Russia in the world wood market. Thereupon important features of the Russian wood export and prospects of Russian Federation in the forming markets of products of deep power processing of wood are noted. Illegal wood is considered as threat of presence of Russia in the markets of the developed countries. Its scales contradict strategic parameters of development of world business – a transparency, legality, stability, they create high risk of national safety. Counteraction effectual measures to internal threats and external calls are allocated.
