In the clause pressing questions and approaches of state regulation of oil industry taking place in world practice are shined most, the major preconditions and restrictions of strengthening of the state presence at the oil industry are designated, problem zones external and internal policy in the given direction are specified. It is designated two key processes in the field of state regulation by oil industry in world economy: a decontrol; strengthening of the state presence, which efficiency depends both on national specificity, and from a level of development of an oil complex in the country.
