Economy of knowledge and the new approach to education system financing

Problem of finding the main directions of improving the efficiency of the education system are considered in the article. The main attention is paid to the requirements of economic security and the transition to a knowledge economy. The necessity of association of citizens with the means of the budget system that will be used exclusively on the priorities of consumers of educational services is given reason.
