Article is devoted the analysis of influence of manufacture of fundamental knowledge on economic safety of the country. Changes in the global economy to expose new factors influence the scientific and technical progress on the economic security of the country, that requires renewal of the theoretical and methodological concepts. In the article for the first time the main factors of influence and performance criteria of background knowledge for the economic security in the global economy.
