In connection with economic reforms and development of market relations in Russia the problem of creation of effective management system of labour motivation of managers on different levels has become more actual. This work contains an analysis of manager’s labour potential, his adaptation to the organizational changes with reference to the problem of industrial managers motivation. The conclusion was drawn that successful adaptation of managers to their duties depends on management culture and value hierarchy.
