Evolution of the strategic approach to management of the company, his four stages is considered: budgeting; long-term planning; strategic planning; strategic management. Conceptual positions and the key moments of each stage are allocated. Features of strategic management in conditions of crisis and uncertainty, specificity of their account for highly changeable and rather stably developing branches are characterized.
