Modern army of about 1 - 1,1 million people, estimated the Professional required budgetary allocation of 8-10% of GDP. As provided, these funds due to higher prices can be considerably reduced. But there is another threats: demographic resources of Russia are very limited, the population is declining. According to the forecasts of the Institute of Demography of the Higher School of Economics Russia expects reduction recruits, much more rapid than loss-pour the entire population.
