The article discusses the interim results of budgeting accounting modernization in Ukraine; it provides brief characteristic of the national provisions (standards) of accounting in the public sector and project accounting plan in the public sector; it highlights the updated positions of accounting employees activity management in the budgetary institutions. The author makes a conclusion about the significance of the conducted events and makes suggestions on further budgetary accounting reform.
