IFRS accounting policies have a great impact on the structure of financial statements disclosures and on the opinion of users of financial statements. It is also an important methodological instrument which can helps to reduce costs of preparation of first financial statements according to the IFRS. That is why an issue of preparation of accounting policies for the first financial statements is still urgent. This article is aimed to uncover general aspects of the IFRS accounting policies, and to reveal particularity of accounting policies in part of first-time adoption of the IFRS.
