Automation of process of preparation of the reporting on the International Standards

This article highlights the problems of automatic accounting processes of IFRS financial statements preparation by Russian companies. Recently, these problems are becoming most actual as more and more companies are implementing or planning IFRS financial statements and also planning to attract foreign investment. Therefore the time of preparation have to be reduced. The authors defined major terms which companies have to consider at phase of the making decision of automation. Major problems and risks which concerns automatic accounting processes of IFRS statements preparation at the phases of development, implementation and operation are indicated and recommendations are formulated.
