In article theoretical aspects of investment activity are considered, methodical bases of the analysis and complex classification of the financial mechanism of investment process are allocated. The author comes to a conclusion that thanks to inflow of investments are created new and operating manufactures extend, the sphere of services as one of the most demanded and perspective branches of economy develops. The increase in volume of investments promotes occurrence of new workplaces, development and an exit on the market of the new goods that finally it is favourable to investors, commodity producers and consumers.
