Russian market of collective investment in the conditions of slowing down of the national economy

The article points out that the level of collective investments development is very important for national economy, since it plays an important role in its competitiveness in the international financial market. The authors emphasize that in the last couple of years the Russian segment of mutual investment funds experiences stagnation. They draw an attention to the slowdown of economic growth in the country resulting in capital outflow from the Russian financial market. The article submits an analysis of the current state of collective investments and reveals the factors which negatively influence an increase of investment attractiveness in mutual funds, and also evaluates prospects of development of this market segment.
