One of the possible alternative methods of the decision of a problem of the organization of financing of large long-term investment projects is the design financing developing in world practice of management by investment projects. In the article the features of design financing and its difference from investment crediting project financing, the main risks arising from the application of the traditional scheme of project financing and ways to minimize them are presented.
